Ellen Smith. Most people called her Nelly.
She passed away on the 9th April 2005 due to her Fighting Lung Cancer.
She was a Lovely person to talk too, loved going down to the Thatto heath labour club for a whiskey or two, maybe more :) and havin a game of bingo :)
She was abit Moody like meself haha, i must take after me nan :)
Me and my cousin Clare always used to go the Labour club with her if she was going playing bingo, when we was there she used to give us some money and we would go to the shop across the road and get a magazine and some sweets:) then we would go back and sit at the desk at the front of the club as you walk in and read our mags & have a chat. After the bingo we always went to the chippy and nan would get pudding and peas and me and clare would get burger & chips:) then go back nans watching telly. She had a Massive family. She has 7 children called Brian, alan, Janet, Thomas, Christine, Robert & Jeffrey.
She also has so so so many grandchildren & Great Grandchildren so i cant name them all but i am 1 of her grandaughters. It has been 5 years since nan passed away & not one day goes by that i dont think about her, she ment the world to me and always will. All her Family and friends miss her dearly and will never ever forget her. She is just one of them people that will never be forgotten. She was an amazing person amd one of the people i looked up too.
She loved all her children so so so much also her loving husband James (Jimmy) smith Who sadly passed away on the 23rd February 2008 aged 85 years old, her Grandchildren, Great grandchildren and many friends.
She will always be missed so Much that you couldnt imagine.
She is really Truly missed by many family & friends Especially me Amber her Grandaughter.
